The Viva! Pomona music festival, a.k.a the “fantastic musical experience in the backwoods of a city,” is set to take over the Glass House and two outdoor stages in the Pomona Arts District on July 19th and 20th. Set in this unexpected location outside of central Los Angeles, the fest notably has an eye out for creating a platform for Latino acts. Guadalajaran alt-rockers Porter, psych-tropicalia outfits Chicano Batman and Santoros, and the dreamy lo-fi soundscapes of Él Mató a un Policía Motorizado will play alongside headliners !!! (Chk Chk Chk), The Oh Sees, and Crystal Antlers.

Tickets for the all-ages fest go for $20, and can be purchased online, or picked up from Glass House Record Store in Pomona or Origami Vinyl and The Well in Los Angeles.
