Who: Alexis Diaz is a Puerto Rican-born street artist who has gained recognition for his murals, which have been commissioned all over the U.S. and as far as Slovakia, South Korea, Argentina and beyond. Alexis often works together with fellow artist and friend Juan Fernandez, under the name “La Pandilla,” prominent in Miami’s Wynwood District.
Why You Should Follow Him: Diaz makes new age Animorphs, taking elephants and sea creatures to make vibrant new shapes and forms. What really makes him stand out is his use of intricate line details, which create new textures when seen up close.
