Miami

As we’ve noted before, there aren’t a whole lot of Mexicans in Miami. In fact, only 1.01% of the total Latino population in Miami is of Mexican background, and 99% of that  1.01% probably consists of the Mexican telenovela stars that have relocated for filming. But not being Mexican never stopped anyone from going in on Cinco de Mayo, and it should stop people from celebrating Mexico’s actual independence day either – so we still found some ways for Miami to party. Let one of the five Mexicans in the city  be your guide, take you out to one of these events, and show you how to drink tequila.
