Who: On August 23, Topanga Film Institute will be presenting a special screening of the documentary on Mexican culture and music,“Hecho En Mexico” at the Ford Amphitheatre, hosted by its director, Duncan Bridgeman. Hecho En Mexico & Musical Friends will also feature pre-screening performances by Ximena Sarinana, one-man band Gull, Sergio Arau of legendary Café Tacuba, along with other surprise guests!
Why You Should Follow Them: The exciting idea behind hashtag Instagram communities is how easy it is to unite users and photos from all over your country and world. The event is offering a chance for fans to participate in #HechoEnMexicoCulture, where anyone can post photos of what Mexican culture means to them. Ten finalists will win tickets to the Hecho En Mexico event at Ford Amphitheatre with the chance to win the grand prize of trip to Mexico City to experience it for yourself! Up until then, you can view the photos taken by people from all walks of life, and learn about what ties our heritage all together in the end.
