If Leonard Cohen had babies with T.V. On the Radio, their sexy sons would be Mexico City’s hottest minimal, darkwave duo, Soledad. Behind this masterfully simple band lies the talented Brett Schultz and Esteban Aldrete. Aside from being regular hotties, in that nerdy post-hipster kind of way, their talent and vigor have stripped down music to its bare essence. Off their latest 2012 EP, Fe, we’re glad to help launch the debut of their super spare video for “Invisible.” You might already be a fan of Veronica and Algodón Egipcio, so if you are, you’re in for a real treat here. I’m already having erotic fantasies of seeing all three of these bands playing together one day. Admit it, that’d be pretty hot.

If you’re in the area, make sure you sneak over to Á179 this Friday, July 27 (TODAY) in the big bad D.F. on Álvaro Obregon 179, Col. Roma Norte. Show starts at 9pm and also includes performances by No Age and D.D.A. It’s a small venue, so pack it up people.
