Directly from Cuba come Wil Campa y su Gran Unión. Wilfredo Campa’s musical history has two rewarding eras of musical movements: on one hand, his work as a singer for two highly recognized Cuban groups: Cumbre and Maraca, and for the past four years, leading his own orchestra, Wil Campa y Su Gran Unión. His music is influenced by the styles of the 40s and 70s eras, thus creating his own style by mixing the rhythms of both generations, el “Son”. With his passion and eagerness to keep Son alive, he has gained the heartfelt acceptance of the Cuban people.
