Event Description

Mexico’s Café Tacvba are headlining at The Fox Theater in Oakland soon. If you’ve grown up with at least one ear in Latin Rock, you have had, at some point and time, a Tacvba phase or even a moment.  Enrique, Emanuel, Juan & Rubén have been producing material for twenty years now, and can easily be dubbed one of the quintessential parts of anyone’s alternative latin music educación. What’s next? After focusing on some solo projects recently, the group plans to release their seventh album before the end of 2012, produced by Gustavo Santaolalla.

Bay Area ska-rock group Bang Data is set to open; their debut album La Sopa was produced by Rockolito Music.
