La Trivia #2: Three Prizes from LA Artist Joel R. Martinez

Last week we brought you an incredible, exclusive print from The Peralta Project. This week, for the above classic Latin music video, we’re giving you a bevy of work from LA graphic designer and artist Joel R. Martinez. From his site:

South Central native, Joel Raul was influenced at a young age by comic books, graffiti and anything shiny. His stencil style art shows how complex and just how similar we really are. When he adds his signature gold/metallic touch to his pieces, he shows value in a very simple way. He started his passion by painting anywhere and everywhere. He never considered himself a “street artist” but more of a artist that came from the streets. His work can be seen on various high fashion companies who sought out his work. After years of perfecting his craft on the computer he decided to blend a little bit of art with a little bit of fashion and a whole lot of pride for his home state California. The Asociated Krew is something he created and along with his core members he looks to expand and continue to show just how complex, simple, valuable and beautiful we really are.

Check out what he’s giving away. First, a 20×30 print of this great photo of the 3rd Street Bridge in Downtown LA:

Next up, this limited edition green Keroppi bandana, a collaboration with Sanrio.

Lastly, a t-shirt carrying the design of Joel R. Martinez’s line, Associated.

Like last week, check back Wednesday for a hint. On Friday, the question goes up on our Facebook page. You have to like us to be eligible to win.

Get cracking.
