Avid reggaeton/rap video director Jessy Terrero (of Wisin y Yandel, Daddy Yankee, and Enrique Iglesias video fame) will helm Freelancers, an NYC rogue cop tale starring Robert De Niro, Forest Whitaker, and buddy 50 Cent (who was in Terrero’s last movie Gun with those awful Val Kilmer posters). The movie comes out in 2012, but we’re curious to see how the “Mujeres in the club” and “Abusadora” Dominican visionary transitions from working with Don Omar to De Niro. Also, he directed Soul Plane. Just saying.
