HBO has decided to pull the plug on three of its comedies in order to clear up its original programming slots for tons of new projects it has in development. Fans will have to say goodbye to Hung, Bored to Death, and How to Make it in America.

How to Make it in America, which lasted two seasons, told the story of two twenty-somethings hustling their way to the top in New York’s fashion scene, trying to hit it big with their own t-shirt line. It also employed a heavily Latino cast, including lead Victor Rasuk, prolific character actor Luis Guzman, Scott Mescudi (better known as Kid Cudi), and a host of supporting actors every week. How to Make It and Bored to Death were both down about 25% of their audience. Hung was down about half. Strangely, the new show Enlightened was renewed, even though it was the lowest rated of all in its very first season.

We’ll miss the show, and its incredible mixtapes. I’ll be bumping that one today, in memoriam.

But, hey, if you want to see Latinos on TV there’s always Rob.
