As one of thirteen children, and having spent five years in an orphanage, it was probably tough for Ivián Sarcos to imagine a glitzy future, but this twenty-two year old Venezuelan human resources graduate will have no trouble finding her spotlight now: she has been crowned Miss World 2011. It was a good showing all around for former Spanish colonies, with second place going to Miss Philipines, Gwendoline Ruais, and third place to Miss Puerto Rico, Amanda Perez.
If Ms. Sarcos wants to put that degree to good use, Remezcla would be glad to offer her an internship. She might be quite the asset around the office…
