D’Marquesina laid down the beats last Friday at the Beauty Bar in Bushwick. The D’Marquesina DJs and DJ Beto kept sweaty bodies moving all night to the sounds of dancehall, soca, reggaeton, merengue, salsa golda, cumbia and electro.
The crowd was a tasty selection of Boricuas, local Bushwick young hotties, Manhattanites, and a bunch of other party goers who frequent clubs like Happy Ending on Tuesdays and NC-17 on Thursdays. Besides the music coming from the DJ booth, there were a few people violently banging cow bells and taking part in drunken sing-alongs in various corners of the club.
The moda of the night ranged from urban chic with guys in sports blazers, designer t-shirts, and jeans, and punks with plain white T’s and tattoos, to sexy rockeras in striped shirts, tight jeans, and ’50s styled summer dresses. Hot!
