Puerto Rican rock band and Remezcla favorite Lapdance is one of 20 finalist groups vying for a spot at Lollapalooza Music and Arts Festival, which takes place August 1st through the 3rd in Chicago’s Grant Park and this year will feature Radiohead, Gogol Bordello, Rage Against the Machine, MGMT, Brazilian Girls and plenty more.
You can vote now on sonicbids.com/lollapalooza08 for your favorite band, which besides a gig at the festival, will get cash prizes, VitaminWater supplies for a year (uuuh!) and tons of merch from Lolla and partner sponsors.
Lapdance is now #6 with 630 votes, and as the only Latin band in competition, you gotta support them, and you only have until July 13 to do it. The guys will be playing in New York next Tuesday as part of the Latin Alternative Music Conference. Mala Postura en NY!
